.About.
After graduating from Hofstra University with a
degree in Fine Arts, I began to explore and experiment with
new ceramics techniques and materials.

As a budding artist, I stumbled upon the concept of
combinations using different clay bodies. The materials' willingness to naturally work and flow together largely influenced my marbled
collection of functional pieces. Combining porcelain and
stonewares embody the ideas of seamless creation and organic fluency.
As my experience and skills grew, so did my themes.
New motifs were explored and ultimately began to manifest
themselves throughout my works. The limitlessness of
clay and replication of movement with this stationary medium made a significant impact on my sculptural collections. The pieces
embody the harmonious idea of exploring and
capturing movement through infinite space.
Now, as I continue on my path as an experienced ceramics artist, my personal aesthetics and technical skills continue to evolve
with concrete practices gleaned from working with
independent artists and teaching at a variety of ceramics studios.
Growing and learning from ceramicists of the present and
past have helped to influence and shape me into the
artist and ceramics instructor that I am today.
